  1. I can’t think of just one person who has caught me when I’ve fallen, but she has always been there for me especially in the beginning when I first started my blog. She has remained my most faithful reader of my blogs and is always there even in the most shittest moments of my life. I love her and I’ll never let her go. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I love this post!!!! One person that was in my life that would never let me fall was my grandfather. Unfortunately, he passed away so I guess I was not there to catch him, which breaks my heart. The cancer had more control that I could have I guess.

My husband would never let me fall. He has been battling deep depression for several months now and I refuse to let him fall. I am always there with as much support as I can give. It gets a little hard just because I am still healing from my flare up, but I do put him first in what I need to take care of. My biggest issues is I will take care of loved ones before taking care of myself. It is just my nature! I really did LOVE this post though!!!!

    1. Aww I’m so sorry to hear about your grandfather, but he’s in a safe, peaceful, and happy place now. I’m the EXACT same way! It’s a habit and something I can’t let go of, I will always put others before myself. Thank you so much!!!

  3. Great advice! My Mom and my Wife have always caught me when I fall. Sadly my Mom is gone to heaven and now my Wife is the only one left to catch me!

  4. Thank you Mackenzie for this very truthful inspiration! I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and hoping your festive holidays will be full of families and friends, health and hopes!

  5. Good post. For me, time is the enemy. My grandparents were always there for me. They are all gone now – so, I been catching myself or picking myself up. These days I’m trying to be that person for someone else. 🙂
